Obituary of Chad Haubrich
Chad Alan Haubrich passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 6, 2020. Chad was born to Harold and Dale (nee Redekopp) on June 23, 1971. Chad married Yvonne (nee Evesque) on August 5, 1995, and celebrated the births of sons, Gage and Jayden Haubrich on October 5, 1999, and then daughter and son, Bryn and Kai Haubrich on February 6, 2004. Chad followed in his family’s heritage and worked in the farming industry, including farming as a fourth generation with Harold on the Haubrich homestead in the RM of Glen Bain until the farm was sold in 2010.
Chad was always heavily involved in his ‘kiddos’ lives and was always stepping up to volunteer or help where needed in his community. He was coach, manager, and mentor to many. Their home near Swift Current has and will always be open to anyone, no questions asked.
He will be missed greatly and remembered by his wife, Yvonne, his children, Gage, Jayden, Bryn and Kai, his parents, Harold and Dale Haubrich, his sister Bonnie (Lanny) Dobson, his sister, Monica (Colin) Pollard, and brother Brad (Fawn) Haubrich as well as in-laws, niece, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many other family members, friends and members of the teams he was involved with.
His family will gather privately in a celebration of life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chad’s memory to the Rotary Club of Saskatoon North in support of disadvantaged rural children of Zimbabwe with learning resources through the work of The Collin Nyabadza Children’s Voice Charitable Trust. Cheques payable to the Rotary Club of Saskatoon North may be mailed to the Piche Hawkins Grondin Funeral Chapels Ltd.
The family would like to sincerely thank the community for all the support they have received at this most difficult time. Although we know that he had more to give, we will cherish all he did give with all our hearts.
