Cathy passed away peacefully, with family by her side on
Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the age of 54 years. She was
the beloved wife and soul mate of John. She was the much
loved sister and sister-in-law of Gerry Carroll (Christina), Betty
Anne Hennessey (Gary), Sean Carroll (Debbie), Sandy King (John),
Margie King (Todd), Frances Ivany (Rick), Tony Pretty (Jennifer) and
Alice McPherson (Paul). Cathy was the dear daughter-in-law
of Philomena and Jack Pretty. She is also fondly remembered
and loved by her many nieces and nephews, her co-workers from
Shopper’s Drug Mart, Sacred Heart Parish members, her
extended family, friends and pretty much anyone who came to know
her. Cremation has taken place. There will be a
private family service at a later date in Newfoundland.
Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington, or the charity of your
choice in Cathy’s name would be appreciated.

My sincere condolences to Cathy’s family. My heart was broken when I heard of her passing. I have known Cathy all my life as we grew up and went to school together. I have so many fond memories of playing together and going to school. I haven’t seen Cathy in many years but I always held her friendship in my heart. She was a beautiful person inside and out and I’m sure her husband as well as her brothers and sisters are heartbroken. You will all be in my prayers. Rest In Peace my old friend, I will never forget you!
