Suddenly and peacefully at the QEH on December 29, 2020, the death occurred of Blair Daniel Mooney, 55, of Charlottetown and formerly of Annandale, PEI.
Blair had an eternal love for his son Jordan Mooney, Charlottetown. Blair’s cherished love Stanna Perry, Charlottetown. Survived by his beloved Dad – Cyril of Annandale. Loving brother to Barbara (Gary) Holmes and Janice Mooney, both of Charlottetown and Wayne Mooney (Natalie) of Poplar Point. Uncle to Brodie, Brandon and Keisha Holmes, Shane Mooney, Dawson and Caelan Mills-Mooney. Blair’s aunts and uncles; Kenny and Gloria Johnston, Little Pond, Louise Williams, Michigan, USA, Doris McIsaac, Hamilton, ON and Joan (Rick) Clark, Toronto, ON. Predeceased by mother Virginia “Ginny” Mooney, niece Breann Holmes, Grandparents Joe and Mary Gertrude Mooney (paternal) and Leonard and Delia MacDonald (maternal) and numerous aunts and uncles. Blair’s kind and gentle nature will be cherished forever.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for family only. A service of remembrance will be held at the Bay Fortune United Church with interment to follow in the Annandale United Cemetery. Due to public health restrictions, the funeral will be for immediate family only and invited loved ones. If so desired, donations in Blair’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army – Community Outreach Centre.
