October 27, 1925 – February 10, 2020

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on February 10, 2020, Bernadette (Reelis) McGrath, aged 94. Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, William (Bill) McGrath; parents Charles and Julia (Clinton) Reelis; and her sisters: Mary, Dorothy and Shirley. Leaving to mourn are her children: William, Anne (Kyran) Dwyer and Brian; grandchildren: Kathleen McGrath, Elizabeth (Zach) Gradwell, John (Kelsey) McGrath and Emily Dwyer; great-grandchild William McGrath (Mac) Gradwell; niece Carol (Art) Villanueva; sister-in-law Maureen McGrath; and extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Hillcrest Estates for the kindness and care shown to Mom over the last five years, and to members of the Dwyer family who were so good to her over the years. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 7 p.m – 9 p.m and Wednesday, February 12 from 2 p.m – 4 p.m and 7 p.m – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mary Queen of the World Church, Topsail Road, on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2 p.m with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
