Barbara Malloy Thursday December 10th 2020

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Barbara on the morning of December 10, 2020. Our mom is to be admired for her courage and strength as she fought her battle against myeloma with great determination. She loved most spending time with her family and grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband Ken Malloy of 47 years. Barb is the beloved mother of Chrissie (Andrew) Sant, Cathy (Robert) Sussman, Carla (Edward) Purcell and Carrie (Fred) Rossi. Proud grandmother and great grandmother to Keegan (Lindsay), Amanda (Tom), Kierstan, Chapin, Logan, Amy, Kyle, Owen, Connor, Jayden, Nathan, Zoe, and Theo. Barb will also be missed by her siblings Edward (Marilyn) Morrison, James (Linda) Morrison and Alice (Mike) Croft. She was also predeceased by siblings Betty (Errol) Grundy, Gord (Brenda) Morrison, and Alan (Diane) Morrison. She will be dearly missed as well by nieces and nephews who enjoyed spending time with their Aunt Barb.
Barb volunteered at Canadian Blood Services from 2006 to 2016 and was recognized for her 10 years of service with a plaque.
A heartfelt thank you to her oncologist, Dr. Wasi and nurses in Clinic F at Juravinski Cancer Centre and the nurses at Oncology Day Services at Juravinski Hospital for their care and compassion.
Due to COVID 19 (Barb has requested) there will be no funeral service. Cremation has already taken place. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
