Arthur Thomas Jordan
C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous annonçons que Arthur Jordan est décédé paisiblement lundi le 30 novembre 2020 à l’âge de 86 ans. Il était l’époux de feu Ghislaine Fournier et le fils de feu Alice Legault et feu Vincent Jordan. Il laisse dans le deuil ces chers enfants: Daniel (Lise), Brian, Patrick (Carole), Nathalie, son petit-fils adoré Philip, ainsi que ses frères Raymond (Shaleen), Albert (Louise), Terry (Hélène) et Vincent (feu Diane Moore), son beau-frère André (Élizabeth), sa belle-sœur Marielle, et ses neveux, nièces, cousin(e)s, voisins et amis. Il fut prédécédé par ses frères Clifford et Thomas.
Papa a eu une longue carrière dans l’industrie automobile qui a commencé en 1951 chez Guest Motors, puis Baillot, Bonaventure Ford, Belisle et Mont Bleu Ford. Il a travaillé aussi récemment que l’année dernière pour Mont Bleu Ford. Il a aimé pouvoir travailler à temps partiel et rester actif.
Papa a été un excellent modèle et un esprit généreux et rempli de compassion. Souriez en sachant que son héritage et une partie de lui reste dans les cœurs de tout ceux qu’il a touché. Une célébration de prières aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
Au lieu de fleurs, ceux qui veulent faire un don en l’honneur de Arthur, peuvent le faire à l’Association pulmonaire du Québec.
La famille tient à remercier les médecins et infirmiers et infirmières de l’unité de soins palliatifs du CSSS Pavillon de Hull pour leur dévouement et les bons soins prodigués.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful death of Arthur Jordan on Monday November 30, 2020 at the age of 86. Husband of the late Ghislaine Fournier, predeceased by his parents Alice Legault and Vincent Jordan and his brothers Clifford and Thomas. He leaves behind his loving children : Daniel (Lise), Brian, Patrick (Carole), Nathalie; his cherished grandson Philip, his brothers Raymond (Shaleen), Albert (Louise), Terry (Hélène) and Vincent (Diane predeceased), brother-in-law André (Elizabeth), his sister-in-law Marielle and nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Dad had a long career in the automotive industry, beginning in 1951 with Guest Motors, including Baillot, Bonaventure Ford, Belisle, and Mont Bleu Ford. He worked as recently as last year for Mont Bleu Ford, and enjoyed being able to work part-time and remain active.
Dad was an excellent role model and had a giving and compassionate spirit. Smile knowing that his legacy and a part of his soul is in everyone’s heart that he touched. A celebration of prayers will be held at a later date.
