Annie Eleniak 2020

Obituary for
Annie Eleniak
It is with great sadness that on September 30, 2020, Annie Eleniak of Peers, Alberta passed away suddenly but peacefully at the age of 82 years.
Annie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Patricia (Ron), Nick (Anne-Marie) and Jim (Angie) as she joins her daughter, Sylvia and her husband, Steve. Memories of Baba will always be cherished by her grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah), Kaitlyne, Meghan, Kaitlyn and Jarrod; great-granddaughter, Quinn; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Annie is also survived by her brothers, Joe (Martha) and Bohdan; and sister-in-law, Claudette Romaniuk. Annie is predeceased by her parents, Joseph Romaniuk and Mary Bohoslawyc; brother, Nick; sister, Sophia; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Williamson; and sister-in-law, Doris Romaniuk.
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of such a strong, smart and kindhearted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Annie was quick witted, incredibly creative and devoted to her family and her faith; loving unconditionally. She would welcome anyone into her home with a smile, something to eat and a cup of coffee. The farm was her safe haven and a place filled with love and laughter for friends and family. She would want us all to know that we are loved.
A special thank you to Dr. Robinson and all of the medical professionals who provided ongoing care for Annie when she needed support. The family would also like to thank the staff at Parkland Lodge for their diligent care and willingness to communicate with the family regarding Annie’s well-being, sharing photos and updates especially during the recent restrictions.
