Obituary of Andre MacNeil
Hector “Andre” MacNeil of Antigonish passed away on Nov. 20 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow while visiting dear and long time friends, Doreen O’Regan and Jason Firth. Born on September 23,1939 in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Hector and Annabelle MacNeil.
In his early years, Andre taught school in Antigonish Co, followed by a long career with the Nova Scotia Community College in Halifax.
Andre is survived by brothers John Francis (Margaret), James (Karen), sisters Agnes (George Cameron) and Claire (Peter Van De Weil).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 12:00-1:30 pm in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., with Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00 pm in Immaculate Conception Church, Heatherton, Rev. Andrew Gillies presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery. Please adhere to COVID-19 Protocols at visitation and funeral. Donations may be made to a charity of choice. www.MacIsaacs.ca
