Obituaries For Andre Dennis Lozeron
December 10, 1939 – November 17, 2020
Andre Lozeron has gone to heaven. On November 17, 2020 Andre passed away peacefully at home at the age of 80 years.
Andre went to Canuck School in Bear Lake and High School in Grande Prairie. He later attended at the Canadian Bible College. He received a degree in agriculture from the University of Alberta and became a farm commentator for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. You could hear him on “Call of the Land”. Andre was a talented agriculturalist and he spearheaded Zero-Tilling in the Peace Country which significantly transformed the farming practices in the area. He took over farming at the Lozeron Homestead with his wife Verna in 1974.
Andre was a brilliant, kind, gentle man. He was a loving husband and father, who would give time to anyone. He saw the value in all things and could carry on a conversation for hours. Life was a perpetual experiment for him and never shied away from trying new things. He could always be found looking for the next big discovery.
Andre will be lovingly remembered by his wife Verna Lozeron (nee, Tetz), his son Guy (Emily) Lozeron and their children Adam and Kariah, his son Dean (Delaine) Lozeron, and his brother Homer Lozeron.
He was predeceased by his brother Paul Lozeron, his parents Pierre Lozeron and Dora Lozeron (nee, Koberg), and his sister-in-law Peggy Lozeron (married to Homer Lozeron).
A Gathering of Friends will take place at the Emerson Trail Cemetery where Andre will be laid to rest November 23, 2020 at 1:00pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions gathering size is limited, please notify Bear Creek Funeral Home if you are planning to attend.
