Bert passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the age of 88. Retired from Imperial Tobacco in 1995 – he returned to his roots in the Ottawa Valley with his wife Evelyn (Forester).
Bert is predeceased by Evelyn (2014), his parents Mervyn and Florence (Senior) Black and his 2 brothers Donald and Mervyn “Buddy”.
He will be dearly missed by his friends and neighbours.
A sincere thank you to the staff at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital and Hospice Renfrew for their compassionate care. They truly are angels of mercy.
Bert’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Respecting Bert’s wishes. there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside services will be held at a later date. Tributes and condolences can be made online at www.zohrfuneralhome.com
