Obituary of Wally Kelley
Kelley, Wallace (Wally)
A resident of Chatham, formerly of Guilds, Wally Kelley passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the age of 86 at Copper Terrace Nursing Home, Chatham.
Wally was the son of the late Harry & Ethel (nee McAdams) Kelley.
Beloved husband of the late Fanny (nee Heuston).
Loving father of Frances Carlson, and Robert Kelley. Predeceased by his daughter, the late Joy Kelley (2013).
Grandfather of Chè & Krystal Hackett.
Wally will be remembered always by his family and is reunited with Fanny.
Wally worked in many factories within Chatham-Kent, including the tomato factory and Kysors (KSR) of Ridgetown and with International Harvester. Wally continued working with Denure Bus Lines in Blenheim where he retired. Growing up in Thamesville, he raised his own family in Guilds. Wally enjoyed playing golf any chance he got. He also loved spending time with his late cat, Tom.
In keeping with Wally’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place with a Private Family Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at a later date.
In memory of Wally, donations may be made to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue.
