Sheila Grace Sellers

Sellers, Sheila Grace (nee Brown) – Nov. 7, 1947 – Dec. 13, 2019, passed away peacefully, December 13, 2019 in Willow Lodge Home for Special Care, Tatamagouche. Born in Pictou and raised in River John, she was a daughter of the late Bert and Kathleen “Peggy” (Jollimore) Brown. Sheila graduated from West Pictou District High School and then went on to graduate from the CNA program at Catherine Booth Hospital in Montreal. She began her career in nursing at Colchester Regional Hospital and later retired from Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche. Family was her life. She adored her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Sellers; their three children, Michelle, Julie (Troy) MacLaughlin, and Martin (Cheryl); grandchildren, Cale and Clint MacLaughlin and Cassie and Cole Sellers. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Laberta Langille and nephew, Shaun Langille. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 17 in Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. A service to celebrate Sheila’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche, with Rev. Penny Nelson officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Hamilton Cemetery, River John. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Willow Lodge.
