Sharon Patricia Dares Nass Thursday November 14th 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Patricia Dares, 75 of Garden Lots, announce her passing on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marion (Nowe) Naas.
In her earlier years, Sharon worked for the Town of Bridgewater and then went on to work for Atlantic Bridge Company for 13 years retiring in 1976.
A faithful member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg Sharon sang in the church choir, was an elder and served on the Board of Management of the church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Sharon’s love of life, family, friends and the community at large were so important to her and she will be missed by so many.
Sharon is survived by her son, Christopher (Cindy) Dares, Garden Lots and her grandchildren, Andrea and Jasmine.
She was predeceased by her husband, Glen.
A Memorial service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg, Rev Suk Ho Lee, officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, the Lunenburg Fire Department, The ALS Society or to the Red Cross.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg.
