Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sharon Elizabeth Raeburn announces her passing on Saturday December 21, 2019 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in March of 1951 in Gagetown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leigh and Jean (Hamilton) Raeburn.
Sharon was the owner and operator of Newman House for many years. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; belonged to environmental groups and enjoyed genealogy and quilting.
She is survived by her sons Mark (Amanda) McKenney and Cliff (Tammy) McKenney; brothers Wayne (Cheryl) Smith, Ralph Raeburn and Adam (Cheryl) Raeburn; sister Karen McIntyre; 5 grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Her Life at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 177 Manchester Ave., Saint John on Friday December 27, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
