Roseanne Elizabeth Pace
Age 79, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2019 in Halifax Hospice. Born on January 9 1940 to Mary and John Spater, in Fort William, Northern Ont. (before it joined with Port Arthur to make Thunder Bay). The family moved to London, Ont. where she met and married Ron Pace of Halifax. They moved back to Nova Scotia in 1969 where they lived to the present. Roseanne had worked at Fairview Villa and the Victoria General Hospital until retirement. She was predeceased by her daughter, Rose Marie; and her brothers, Wayne, Robert and Jack. She is survived by husband, Ron, of 56 years; brother-in-law, Larry and sister-in-law, Pamela Pace; brother, Fred; sisters, Dorothy and Audrey; and nieces and nephews, Fred, Michelle, Michael, James, Patrick, Joanne and Candice. Her generosity and helping hand will be greatly missed. Thanks to Dr. Kenyon, the staff of 9-A Centennial and the wonderful care at Halifax Hospice. Cremation will be held by Dartmouth Funeral Home. No service will be held. Special thanks to friends and neighbours, Malley, Ralph, Karen, Mary and Darlene, and Shirley and Jeffrey.
