Rose Rosie Grubisich 2019

Rose “Rosie” Grubisich
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our “Rosie” on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 74 years of age.
Beloved “Sweetie” of George, whom she called “Sugar” for 52 years. Cherished mother of Chris and wife Antonella, and Susan and husband Derek Saar. Ever loving mémé of Taya (her little pumpkin) and Luca (her little Luca) and the late Abagail (2017). Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Bernadette Cartier and by her in-laws Mirko and Katherine Grubjesic. Dear sister of Ron (the late Pauline), Rita Longeuay (the late Robert), Leo and wife Nora, the late Jeanne Belleau, Andrew and wife Paulette, Lena and husband Joe Krsul, Lawrence and wife Michele, and Mary and husband Mario Sarra. Sister-in-law of John Grubisich and Connie (the late Cathy). Cherished godmother of Jonathan and Michael. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Rose was a retired employee of Woolco/Walmart with 35 years of service. She enjoyed baking and will be remembered for her specialties: cherry chip cake, butter tarts, cheesecake, shortbread cookies, and pineapple squares. Rose always made sure that her grandchildren were stocked with treat bags to take to hockey for after the game.
If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
