It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rita Mary Rioux announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on December 21st, 2019 at the age of 70 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two sons Darren in Alberta, Jason (Melissa) in Ontario, her daughter Darlene (Sean) Sharp, her two grandchildren Jordan and Chloe. Also leaving to mourn her brother Clifton Retieffe in Three Rock Cove, five sisters: Edith Antle in Bay Verte, Eleanor (Summie) Duffenais in Three Rock Cove, Mable (John) Steever in New Brunswick, Peggy (Dan) O’Quinn in West Bay, Marilyn (Jim) Barry in Three Rock Cove and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Margaret Retieffe and her brothers Lucas, Bernie and Bob. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
