Miller, Raymond:
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at Innisfree House at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Dayle for 52 years.
Loving father of Charlotte (Jeff Snyder) and Jeff (Linda).
Cherished Papa of Josh, Nick, Emily, Jake and Sarah.
Dear brother of Alice Derkzen and her friend, Jim.
Uncle of Shirley (Bob), Brian (Shari) and Tammy (Shawn).
Survived by his sister-in-law, Fran.
Will be remembered by his great-nieces and their families.
Predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Helena, brothers, Ken and his wife Mary and Les, and brother-in-law, Rene Derkzen.
Ray had a love of family and all things sports – caching, hockey, baseball, golf. He was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. He and his wife spent many winters vacationing in Lakeland, Florida. Ray enjoyed entertaining and karaoke. He spent most of his career working with Grand River Transit
A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be held from 1 – 4 pm on Sunday, December 15th, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
