WWII veteran, Raymond Bartlett, passed away peacefully at Collingwood Nursing Home on December 3, 2019 he was 96. Ray is now reunited with his wife of 39 years, Elizabeth Bartlett, who passed away in August. Ray will be deeply missed by his stepchildren Kevin (Michele) Inglis, Sharron Campbell (Ed Voogt) and Cheryl (Mike) McWilliam; grandchildren Brendan and Kelsey McWilliam, Nicholaus Voogt, Paula Chomiak, Sonia Van Roestal and David Draper. Ray was predeceased by his brothers George (Dolly), Harold (living Joan), Jack (Marilyn) Bartlett and sister Grace Cave (Orin). He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. This kind and gentle man will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Funeral service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home on Monday December 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion – Collingwood. Interment at Alliston Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal Canadian Legion – Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
