Obituary for
Norman Geno
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Norman Geno, age 85 at Extendicare in Timmins Ontario after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Norm is predeceased by his father Harvey, mother Madeleine, and brothers Donald and Robert. He is survived by his brother Cary (Lorraine), his niece Caroline (Matthew), his great nephew Logan and step niece and step nephew Pamela and Nathan. Norm was proud to work for Ontario Hydro for 39 years and was passionate about playing hockey and golf. He was extremely generous and loving to his immediate family and was extremely proud of his niece Caroline. He lived most of his life in Kapuskasing except for the few years he resided at Extendicare. He will be missed by all. The Geno family wishes to extend our appreciation to the staff at Extendicare for their care and kindness during his stay there. Norm will be buried alongside his brother Donald this spring in Kapuskasing at a private family gathering. Cremation has been entrusted with Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
