Obituary

On the morning of Sunday, December 22, 2019, Edward Malcolm McLean passed away peacefully at home. Edward was born into this world with handicaps beyond his control, leaving him handicapped for life. Yet, Ed not only survived, but did so in spite of his handicaps.
Those who knew Ed knew he was a kind, selfless person with a big heart. I know he would want us to thank all of those in the Cranbrook community who helped him whenever they felt he needed it. Ed was a regular at A & W. One could go for a coffee and see Ed sitting at his usual table in the corner looking at the paper and doing the cross word puzzle. He was always friendly with everyone! Ed will be missed by his family and friends that are too numerous to name!! God speed Edward; into the paradise that awaits you.
Ed’s family would like to thank Frank Hetherinton and all his friends at Interior Health who helped Ed so much in the past years. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
Ed leaves to mourn his passing his siblings; Linda (Del) Westfall, Jo-Anne Still and Ken (Dee) McLean as well as many nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his father Ken Maclean Sr. in July of 2019 and his mother Joan Shirley McLean in 1992.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of McLean Edward Malcolm July 31 1957
