Matthew James “Matt” McLearie
On December 29, 2019, in the comfort of his own home, Matt passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of Paulette for 33 years. Dear father of Sean, Shannon, Sheri Malaquias and husband Jamie, Steven and wife Rose, Christine Divnich and husband Richard, Matthew III and wife Kailey. Dearest son of Matthew Alexander Sr. and Frances McLearie. Survived by his siblings David McLearie and Stewart McLearie. Cherished grandfather of Brittany, Marissa, Jamie Jr., Tamara, Sierra, Corben, Evan, Jake, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Danté, Audriana, Matthew IV and August. Matt will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Matt was partial owner of McLearie & Sons for over 35 years. He was a die-hard sports fanatic, and he especially loved watching the Lions, no matter what the result. Matt was very personable, able to make friends with anyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation Thursday, January 2, 2020 and Friday, January 3, 2020 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
