CHANADY, Mary (Sanko) –
Born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba on February 21, 1925 and has gone to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Steve Chanady (2002). Cherished mother of Steve Jr. and Frank (Jenny) and loving sister of Olive Lennox (late Maurice). Predeceased by her parents John and Annie Sanko (Oleniuk), brothers Alex (Elsie) Sanko, Paul (Mary) Sanko and Tony (Shirley) Sanko and sister Nellie (Nick) Namaka. A heartfelt thanks to the GNGH doctors and staff for their support.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, ON, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 4673 Victoria Ave., Niagara Falls, on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 12 noon. Burial to follow in Lundys Lane Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to either St. Patrick Church or to Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
