Mary Gleboff 2019

Mary was born on May 5, 1928 in Raspberry Village. She passed away peacefully at Castleview Care Centre on December 15, 2019 with family by her side.
Mary and her husband Alex lived in Robson for over 40 years. During her life, Mary worked at the Trail Hospital, Eaton’s, Raspberry Lodge, and Castleview. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters for many years and volunteered at the Hospital Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop and the Robson Ladies Cooking Group. Mary loved flowers, reading, gardening, travelling, and bowling.
Mary is predeceased by her husband Alex Gleboff, her brothers Pete, John, and Bill Harshenin, as well as her parents Samuel and Marhuta Harshenin. She is survived by her daughters Heather Gleboff and Monica (Paul) Dorenberg, her son Gerry (Susanne) Gleboff, granddaughters Tara and Hailey Gleboff, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ankenbauer and the staff at Castleview, Castle Wood Village, and Castlegar Home Support for their wonderful care of Mom over the years. Thank you as well to the Castlegar Funeral Chapel, New Life Church, and the USCC Ladies who all went above and beyond in challenging circumstances.
