Friday November 29th, 2019 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Richard Burton. Loving mother of Rick, Colin (Tracy) and Kati (James Kiddle). Cherished grandmother of Sean, Brandon, Ella, Ariel, Emmett, and Evan.
Dear daughter of Cecil and Mary McVey both predeceased. Dear sister of Gerald (Joyce), Lyle predeceased, Doran (Maxine), Janice (Paul Befford), Blair predeceased (Beth), Ian and Susan (Gilles). Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends.
Christmas was her favourite time of the year. To most she was Christmas, and she brought the spirit. Marilyn was very proud and loved to live in Canada. Her family and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Marilyn loved her daycare kids and was a long time foster parent to many children.
At Marilyn’s request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
Donations to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated.
