Mrs. Marie “Cecile” McGraw, wife of Eugene McGraw of Brown Road, Miramichi passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the age of 76.
Born in New Jersey NB, she was the daughter of the late Alain and Alvina (Girouard) Savoie. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head.
Besides her husband Eugene, she is survived by her daughters, Theresa Girouard (Richard) of Miramichi and Rose McGraw (Sean Whelan) of Miramichi; her sister, Annette McGraw (Late Norbert) of Miramichi; her brothers, Etienne Savoie (Sonia) of Lagaceville and Rodolphe Savoie (Lucienne) of New Jersey and her three grandchildren, Justine Girouard, Zach Girouard and Hannah Whelan.
She was predeceased by her parents and one brother-in-law Norbert McGraw.
Mrs. Marie “Cecile” McGraw is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Friday December 27 from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 28 at 2 p.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
