Marguerite Louise Allison – 73, of Coldbrook, Kings
County, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in the Valley
Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of
the late Oakland (step-father) and Helen (Bellfontaine) Beck. She had
been employed as a Kitchen Supervisor with the Department of National
Defense. She is survived by her husband, Douglas; a daughter,
Kimberley (Steve) Fitzgerald, Sackville; a son, Michael (Chantal),
Cole Harbour; a sister, Nancy Beck, Baltimore, Maryland; three
brothers, Greg (Pamela) Beck, New Minas; Gordon (Elizabeth) Beck,
Dartmouth; Tony (Tanya) Beck, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by a
granddaughter, Allison Doucet. Cremation has taken place. Visitation
will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019 in the White
Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by
a reception, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2019,
Father John MacPherson officiating. Burial will take place in
Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory may be made to the
Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the Children’s Wish
Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
