LYLE WILLARD DEMOLINE December 7, 1962-December 18, 2019 (age 57 years)
The family of Lyle Willard Demoline sadly mourns his sudden passing. We pray that he has found the freedom and peace he so desperately desired.
Lyle leaves behind four children who he loved deeply. Joshua and Jessica Demoline of Calgary, AB and Chelsea and Matthew Jackson of Olds, AB.
Mourning the loss of their oldest son are Willard and Sylvia Demoline of the Usona area, south of Falun, AB. Lyle last resided with his parents there, where he would help them with some of the acreage chores. The land is part of the homestead settled by Lyle’s great-grandparents, and is where he spent his teen years learning the harness racing industry. He went on to train and race standardbred horses during his young adult years.
Later he learned the building trade and made it his career. He was a skilled craftsman, always worked hard, and took pride in “doing a job right”. His construction skills were often put to work helping various members of his family with renovations and building projects. Lyle had a particular sense of humour accompanied by a memorable laugh that we won’t soon forget.
Lyle was the beloved brother of Terry Demoline (Wetaskiwin, AB), Margaret Kennedy (Edmonton, AB) Lloyd (Nancy) Demoline (Edmonton, AB). He was also uncle to their children Katrina (Scott) Searson, Leanna (Cody) Klingbeil (and great uncle to their son Magnus), Rachael Scaife (Jessica Emerson), Nathaniel Bentson-Demoline, Megan (Brandon) Pelz , Mitchell Kennedy.
Lyle will be sorely missed by his aunts and cousins, many of which he grew up with.
Lyle was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Violet Demoline (Winnipeg, MB) and Aage and Anne Frandsen (Falun, AB), as well as many aunts and uncles.
As per Lyle’s wishes, cremation will take place. No service will be held at this time.
