At Victoria Hospital, London, on Saturday, December 14th, 2019, with family by his side, Mr. Ian King, of London, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of 49 years to Irene King. Loving Dad to Sara King (Reagan), of Halifax and Louise King (Joel), of Cochrane, Alberta. Ian will also be sadly missed by his family and friends in the U.K. and Canada, especially by his dear friend Bill King, of Edinburgh, with whom he proudly served in the Royal Air Force. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ian’s Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, December 17th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Arthur Hiley officiating. Private family interment of ashes at a later date. Special thanks to all the nurses and support staff on floor C7 at Victoria Hospital who cared for Ian during his time there. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ian are asked to consider Mission Services of London.
