It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Kenneth “Ken” Giblin.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Barb; children: Cathy (Thea and Devon), Brent (Patti); stepdaughters: Michelle (Phil) and Melissa Wright; brother, Mike (Adele); In-laws: Ruth and Eric, Barry, Brian (Tessi), Bruce (Tiffany); many grandchildren, nieces and nephews including nephew, Barry (Cathy); cousins including Lyle Shrigley as well as numerous friends from far and wide.
Ken was his own man, a man of love and honour, fully supportive of friends and family. He was his own guiding light and he went through life on his terms.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Connelly-McKinley, St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, AB.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Rainbow Society of Alberta, 12122-68 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5B 1R1 or Ducks Unlimited Canada, 17504-111 Avenue NW, Edmonton AB, T5S 0A2.
