Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Joyce Roberta (Sequin) Price which occurred on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Turnbull Nursing Home. Born March 4, 1940, in Yarmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Sequin and Eva Maxwell.
Joyce lived her life as a very caring, loving and giving person. She was devoted to her family, friends and also lending a hand to those in need. Joyce had a big heart and will be remembered for her love of gardening, BINGO, knitting, bowling and her ability to be the neighbourhood “Mom” to all children growing up.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 48 years, Terry and her children; Karen (Tim), John (Mary-Ann), Wendy (Stewart), Judy (Bill), Jim (Suzie), Kim, Tom (Marie) and Davey (Shelley). She will also be remembered by her twenty-two grandchildren; Stacey, Jamie, Luke, Holly, Elisha, Brian, Courtney, Tyler, Cody, Erika, Jenny, Marisa, Colten, Kenneth, PJ, Cassandra, Evan, Alex, Dominique, Dustin, Dylan and Jordan, nine great grandchildren; Alex, Emma, Ryan, Hunter, Lucas, Payton, Douglas, Kaiden, Kylie and one special great granddaughter on the way, Baby Anderson.
In a special way, Joyce will be missed by her best friend Beverley and her 4 canine companions.
Our family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Turnbull Nursing Home for their care and compassion shown towards Joyce.
To know Joyce, was to love Joyce, she will be remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her adopted parents Frank Lawlor and Jessie Boyd.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation hours being held between 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday, December 20, 2019. A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at the Fundy Chapel at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 21st.
Memorial donations towards the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA would be appreciated.
