Janice’s Obituary
NICKERSON, Janice Merinda – 71, Halifax, formerly of Shelburne, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home in Halifax on December 3rd, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Abbie Stoddard. In Janice’s early years she worked in the fish plants. She was happily married to Robert Douglas Atkins. She enjoyed doing crafts, reading and looked forward to visiting her family every summer. Janice is survived by daughters; Unnetta and Ruth-Anne; brother Robbie; sister Etta, and granddaughter Chasity Crowell. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne, where there will be a visitation on Friday December 6th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and a funeral will take place on Saturday December 7th at 1:00 pm. Donations in Janice’s memory can be made to a charity of choice. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. You may sign the guest book at www.huskilson.net
