Oosterbroek, James (Jim) – General Manager of the Franklin Club and Trout Farm in Mount Albert for more than 30 years. Passed away with his family by his side, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, on Monday December 23, 2019, at 58 years of age. Beloved husband of Lori and proud father of Bradley. Loving brother of Lisa (Bill Ropertz) and uncle of Michael and Hailey Ropertz. Brother in law of Scott Rankin (Karen Will) and uncle of Charles and Joseph Rankin. Dear son-in-law of John and Barbara Rankin and step-son of Tish Oosterbroek. Jim is predeceased by his parents John and Katherine Oosterbroek. He will be sadly missed by his cousins Ann (Lindsey), Susan (Craig), Leanne (Neil) and Allan (Heather) and their families. A private Celebration of Jim’s life will take place. Special thanks to the caring staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre: Dr. So and nurse Chandra, Dr. Bouttell and to Oncology nurses Yuki, Alison, Susan and Karina and community nurse Majid.
