God called Giovanni “John” Adamo peacefully on December 19, 2019 at the age of 86. John will be forever missed by his wife, Raffaella. He is now reunited in Heaven with his children Eugenio and Assunta Susan. He will always be in the heart of his sister in law, Maria Filice. Proud zio to Marcello (Lindsay), Fabrizio (Licia), Anna (Jack), and Michael. He is pre-deceased by his parents Salvatore and Giuseppina Adamo; his brother Mike Adamo; his in-laws Eugenio and Assunta Caputo; and his brother in-law Pietro Filice. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and many friends. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario. Tel. 905-850-9500) on Sunday December 22, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday December 23, 2019 at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. (150 St. Francis Ave., Vaughan, Ontario). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., Thornhill, Ontario). The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre who took good care of John in his last moments.
