Peacefully passed at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge, on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 96 years of age. Beloved wife of Stanley. Predeceased by daughter Linda Sims (Bob). Lovingly missed by son Ed (Pat), grandchildren Rick, Lori, David, Robert and by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Family will receive relatives and friends for a time of visitation at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 11am until the time of funeral service at 12pm. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hilltop Manor for their care and compassion. In memory of Gertrude, donations made to Saint Luke’s United Church, 1620 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, ON, N3C 1P4 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
