George Albert Frieburger, of of Walkerton passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton at the age of 96.
Loving father of Donna (Bill) Hopcraft, Barb (Bill) Ernest, Larry (Lori Gimbel) and Kevin (Kork) all of Brant Township. Cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Agnes Voisin of Hanover, Theresa Voisin of Walkerton, Pauline (Allan) Oliver of Edmonton, AB and Adeline (Roy) Williams of Clifford.
George was predeceased by his wife Bernice (nee Lang); great-grandson Daylan Hopcraft: brother Frank (Bernetta) Freiburger; brothers-in-law Gerald Voisin and Norman Voisin and parents Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Hehn) Frieburger.
George’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge St. S).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton (221 Victoria Street). Fr. Leszek Szczygiel officiating.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
