Frank M. Campbell, 93, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont
University Hospital Centre on Monday, December 2,
2019.
Born in Sunny Brae, he was the
son of the late William and Nancy (Ward)
Campbell.
Frank was a former Executive
Director with the NB Department of Transportation and attended Sunny
Brae Baptist Church. An avid golfer, Frank enjoyed reading, puzzles
and word searches, boating, RV’ing, playing horseshoes and
spending time with his family.
Frank will be sadly missed by
his wife of over 70 years, Gladys (Mann) Campbell; daughters, Kelli
Asselin (Jamie) of Ontario and Lisa Guignard (Marc) of Bathurst;
grandchildren, Kyle, Kori, Eric and Andrew. Frank was the last
surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents,
he was predeceased by sisters, Mary, Florence, Annie, Hazel, Nancy and
Bessie and by brothers, Ken, Leonard and
Bill.
A Service to celebrate and
honour Frank’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, December 6,
2019 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Colin Cook officiating. Reception in the
Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be
in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
In memory of Frank, donations
to Camp Wildwood, Sunny Brae Baptist Church Building Fund or a
memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online
