Florence Lortie (Doyon)
It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, Saturday, December 21st, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Georges Lortie. Daughter of the late Omer and the late Elzire (née Bessette) Doyon. Loving mother of Louise Prieur (Donald), Suzanne Frappier (Daniel), Claire Pilon (Donald) and Nicole Jordan (Robert). Predeceased by her son Paul Lortie (Lynne). Predeceased by her siblings André Doyon (Colette), Patrick Doyon (late Katie) and Paulette Vincent (late Ronald). Cherished grandmother of Christine (Denis Brisson) and Renée Lortie (Charles Myre), Keegan Prieur (Rachelle), Julie Lafond (Michel), Joel Frappier, Mélanie (Derek Brett) and Eric Pilon and Kyle (Dominique Lamontagne) and Kendra Jordan. Will be missed by 16 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North 4th floor and a special thanks to Robyn for the kind and compassionate care provided. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury on Thursday, December 26th, 2019 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 27th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
