BARSS, Evelyn Kathleen age 83 years of Dartmouth passed away peacefully December 18, 2019 in Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home. Born in Dartmouth she was a daughter of the late Aaron & Marjorie (McKay) Booth. She was a waitress and worked and several downtown Dartmouth restaurants before retiring after 45 years. She is survived by a daughter Diane Shute, Dartmouth, sons Owen Barss, Alberta, and Laurie Barss (Dorothy Paris) Halifax, sisters Pearl Hearn, Bay Bull’s Newfoundland and Norma Arnold (Russell), Dartmouth, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Eldon, a daughter Lillian, a sister Pauline, brothers Eddie and William. (services are being planned and will be posted when finalized)
