Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre on December 4th, 2019, Edward Patrick Gellately, aged 71 years, after a brief but brave battle with cancer. Edward is predeceased by father Alexander and mother Gladys Marie Gellately. Survived by two sisters: Lynn Harris (Robert Lovett), and Barbara (Gary Snow); three brothers: Phil (Bessie Crummel), John (Rosamund), and Robert (Mary); As well as his best friend of 31 years, Norman Karlik. Edward was a brilliant man with a quiet and calm demeanor. He was funny, endearing and he loved anything related to space exploration. He dreamed of being amongst the stars and since leaving this mortal coil, we hope he got his wish. As per Edward’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Private burial will be Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be given to the charity of your choice.
