David R. Brown
1937 – 2019
David Ross Brown, husband of Shirley D. (Smith) Brown of Miramichi passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on December 1, 2019 at the age of 82.
Born in Winnipeg, MB, on September 22, 1937, he was the son of the late William Ross and Blanche (Whiggams) Brown. He was a stereotyper (printing) for the Newspapers in Toronto for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley D. (Smith) Brown; one sister, Barbara Jones of California; nieces and nephews: Peter (Rose-Mary) Moote, Daphne (Akani) Fletcher, Karen (Russell) Bartmus, Ted (Sharon) Carruthers, David (Lori) Carruthers and Michelle (Sean) Bradley; many great-nieces and great-nephews; a special cat Monty. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister Geraldine.
As per David’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held later in the spring.
