David Benjamin Thomas Bratt 2019

David Benjamin Thomas Bratt
It is with heavy and broken hearts we announce the passing of Dave after a long battle with cancer on December 28, 2019 at the age of 42. He will be forever missed and loved by his wife Colleen (nee Lefrancois) for 21 years. Loving father of Nick (Cassie) and Josh. Adored son of David “Fred” and the late Carol Bratt. Dear brother of Aimee (Bob). Cherished son in law of Paul and Brenda Lefrancois. Dear brother in law of Jean Paul (Maythe) and Michelle (Joe). Fabulous uncle of Shelby, Alyssa, Lucas, Emilien and Genevieve.
Dave was proud member of the U.A. Local 527 and was a steamfitter/welder. He took great pride in helping others in his community as well as friends and family. Dave always put others before himself regardless of his illness. He loved to fish with his wife and family, snowmobile and dirt bike along with many other activities. A special “Thank You” to the WRH Ouellette Campus ER Doctor, Dr. Ruisi, Dr. Aoun and the nurses and staff on the 7th floor.
If you so desire, donations to the Amherstburg Mission or the House of Shalom would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation Monday December 30, 2019 from 3 – 5 pm & 7 -9 pm at Families First Funeral Home, Amherstburg. Visitation will resume Tuesday December 31, 2019 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30 am.
