Clark, Edith Viney ‘Edie’
Edie Clark, longtime resident of Meaford, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the age of 66.
Born in Nova Scotia on July 18, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Marie Muise and Rosco Doucher.
She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Clark in 2002.
Edie was the beautiful and independent mother of Tammy Clark (Ken Spears) of Meaford and Gordie Clark (Maya Geissbulher) of Meaford.
She was the loving grandma ‘Nena’ of Wyatt, Shauna, Jonathan, and McKayla.
Edie will be remembered fondly by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and their families.
She will be missed dearly by her niece and best friend Carrie Ziegler (Brian). Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she loved spending time with them. Edie will be remembered for her positive attitude and bubbly personality despite some of the challenges she faced in her life.
A service celebrating Edie’s life will take place at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11 o’clock.
As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Golden Town Outreach (cheques only please) would be appreciated and may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., Meaford, ON N4L 1B9 to whom arrangements have been entrusted.
