Bernard’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away, after a long and courageous journey with Parkinson’s Disease, at Pleasant View Towers, on Sunday, December 15, 2019, Bernard Edward St. Croix, of St. Mary’s, aged 73 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Butler), son Bernie, parents Clifford & Alice St. Croix, brother Ed, parents-in-law Joseph & Isabelle Butler, brother-in-law Tommy and sister-in-law Doreen. Ben will be missed by his daughters: Lisa (Glen) George, Rhonda (Tom) Bursey; daughter-in-law Phyllis; grandchildren: Rylee, Devin, Mark, Ryan, Ian and Eva; brothers: Dan (Josephine), Brendan (Daphne), Darrell (Valerie), Keith (Mavis); sisters: Jean (John), Irene (Arno), Marilyn, Karen (Bert), Anna (Gerard), Elaine (Gerard),l brother-in-law Bill, sisters-in-law Teresa Butler (Wayne Colson), Betty Chamberlain (Don), as well as many nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends too numerous to name. A special thank you is extended to all the care providers, nurses and doctors who cared for Ben and a special thank you to the staff at Pleasant View Towers for their loving care for almost 5 years. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Tuesday, December 17, from 2 – 4pm; 7 – 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place, on Wednesday, December 18, at 10am, at Our Lady of Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Burial to follow.
