Ross, Beatrice (nee Dietrich):
Formerly of Kitchener, Beatrice passed away peacefully at Extendicare Rouge Valley, on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late James Ross (2014). Loving mother of Douglas (Donna) Ross, Janis (Richard) Podesta and mother-in-law of Richard Mellor. Cherished grandmother of Breanne (Jeff) Wong, Alison (Rob) Tayler, Ryan (Katie) Mellor and Tiffany (Jarod) Woodley. Great-grandmother of Clark, Grace, Rhett, Victor, Emma, Willa, Boston, Maverick, and York.
Dear sister of Robert (Mary) Dietrich and Bernetta Wettlaufer.
Predeceased by her daughter, Donna Mellor, her parents Alexander and Rosetta (nee Forwell) Dietrich, her sisters Gertrude Kuehner and Dorothy Ott.
Beatrice’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. followed by a procession to Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church (305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener) for the Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Larry Parent officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery. A reception will follow the services back in the Funeral Home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
