HOUSE, Mr. Barry Gordon
At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in his 87th year. Husband of Mary (nee Pearson) for 58 years. Loving father of Paul Pearson House and his wife Mary and Mary Catherine Masciangelo and her husband Stephen. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Rachael, Anna, Abigail and Zachary. Predeceased by his parents Ernest Chester House and Gladys Lillian (nee Mason) of stratford. Dear brother-in-law of Monsignor John Pearson, Robert Pearson and Ranald Pearson. He formally apprenticed at the CN Rail in Stratford where he worked alongside his father. After moving to Peterborough he worked at Outboard Marine as a Designer/Draftsman. Later in life he went back to school and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1975, while working and supporting his family. Returning to Peterborough he began working at Sir Sanford Fleming College as a Business Administrator. There will be a Funeral Mass held at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS 411 Reid Street on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Reception to follow, across from the Cathedral, in the Knights of Columbus Hall. Private family interment will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In memory of Barry, donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
