1951-2019
Annette May (Foster) Jonah, of Sus, passed away
peacefully at the Sus Hospital on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at
the age of 68 years.
Born in Middleton, NS Annette was the daughter of
Georgia (Haight) and the late Hallett Foster. She attended
Havelock United Baptist Church and was a support to the Neuroendocrine
Cancer Group. Before Annette was married, she graduated from
Atlantic Baptist College, she worked with DVBS groups in Newfoundland
and child care in Fredericton. Later she stayed home to
raise her children and once they were grown she did senior home
care.
Annette is survived by her husband of 46 years,
Darryll Jonah; one daughter Nalan (Darren) Stretch of Kinkora, PEI and
two sons Mitchell (Darcie) Jonah of Norton, NB, and Ross (Monique)
Jonah of Vernon, BC; five grandsons Samuel Stretch, Micah Jonah, Eli
Jonah, Tyler Stretch, and Luke Jonah; sister Sandi (Don) Smith of
Moncton and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation is at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350
Route 106 (372-4800) on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 4 to 8
pm. The funeral service will be held at the Havelock United
Baptist Church, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10 am with Rev. Jeff
Irving officiating. Interment will be at the Jonah Cemetery,
Dawson Settlement.
If desired, donations to the Havelock United
Baptist Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by
Annette’s family.
