WALSH, Anne Marie Bernadette – Passed away peacefully in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the age of 52. Born in Yarmouth on December 23, 1967, she lived her entire life in Meteghan. She was a daughter of Martha, Meteghan, and the late Jean Walsh. She is survived by her two precious boys, Brody and Nathan Melanson; brother, Ricky Walsh (Helen Porter); stepfather, Fred Fournier; the love of her life, fiancé, Cecil Swaine; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. A special thanks to Star Deveau, lifelong friend, and sister-in-law, Helen Porter, for helping her through this journey.
Anne Marie was a great entrepreneur having started two separate businesses; firstly, owning and operating a flower shop for many years and then changing careers to become a CCA. Caring for people was her heart’s passion. Secondly, opening and owning her own private boarding home with residents whom she loved and her workers who helped her.
She touched many lives with her kind spirit, generosity and, of course, her beautiful smile that lit up any room.
There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 28, at 3 p.m. in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Saulnierville. A reception will follow in Sacred Heart Parish Hall, Saulnierville. Donations may be made to Jackie Comeau & Friends Cancer Help Fund Association.
