Yves Bourassa 19482019

Yves Bourassa
1948-2019
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Charlottetown on Wednesday November 20, 2019 of Yves Bourassa of
Charlottetown and formerly of Maple Lane Kensington aged 70
years. Born in Montreal December 15, 1948 son of the late
Raymond and Jeannine (Ménard) Bourassa. He is
survived by his daughter Audéane Baillard Bourassa and her
mother Karen Baillard, as well as his brother and sisters Diane
Bourassa-Sauvé (Gérald Sauvé), Claire
Bourassa, Danièle Bourassa (Shannon Readman), Lorraine
Bourassa, and Jean–Luc Bourassa (Isabelle
Lafrenière). He will be greatly missed by his
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews and
cousins in the province of Quebec.
Yves was a loving and caring Dad and brother. His
death is a great loss for his immediate family as well as the new
family he had created on the island. He was a generous man who was
always willing to help out others. His charm and confidence mixed well
with his very witty sense of humour. Yves had a way with all
living creatures, dogs, cats, rabbits and birds of all
kinds. He loved skating and attending the Caps hockey games
and talking to all the people he met along the way. Yves was
a softhearted and loyal friend and neighbor. His loss is a
quick expiry of a life well lived on Maple Lane.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No
visitation or funeral service by personal
request.
Don and Sandra Harris will be hosting a celebration of Yves’s
life on Saturday, November 30th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 8
Maple Lane in Kensington. Friends and neighbours are all welcome to
join together to share stories, tears and laughter in honour of
Yves.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Yves Bourassa 19482019..
