Obituary of Ross Weldon Wilson
It is with sadness and peace that the family of Ross Weldon Wilson Jr., announces his passing, which occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 12, 1939, he was the son of the late Ross and Lillian (Skidds) Wilson.
Ross is survived by his children Karen Thorne (John), Dean Wilson (Karen), Randy Jefferson (Debbie), Terry Jefferson (Dixie Coughlin); Tony Wilson (Nancy Marks), and Mona Campbell (Mike), sisters Sandra Field (Bob) and Arlene Waddingham; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Ross was a practiced gardener, hunter and dearly loved his close-knit church. The family would like to thank Jamie Babineau, who enabled him to remain at home for so long, and the amazing staff of 5CS, both for going above and beyond with patience and kindness.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, N.B. (634-7425). As per the family’s request, there will be no funeral service. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 pm on Monday, November 18. Donations in Ross’s memory can be made to the SPCA Animal Rescue (St George branch via local vet clinic @ 755-1100) or another deserving charity of your choice.
